Know Before You Go
Access to Bellows Air Force Station is controlled. This page will help you understand who can visit, what you need to bring, and how to prepare before you arrive. We want your visit to go smoothly — Aloha style.
BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
Valid Identification Required
All visitors must present a valid, unexpired government-issued ID upon entry. Identification that has passed its expiration date will not be accepted under any circumstances. Please verify your credentials prior to your visit.
Parking Permits Are Not Base Access Credentials
Rapid Gate passes and parking permits do not constitute valid base access credentials and will not be accepted at the entry control point. Please ensure you have the appropriate identification and authorization before arriving.
Criminal Background Check Required
All visitors are subject to a criminal background check prior to being granted access to the installation. Please be advised that sponsorship by an authorized DoD cardholder does not guarantee entry and does not override an access denial.
Required Vehicle Documentation
All vehicles entering Bellows AFS must be prepared to present the following to the Sentry upon arrival: a current driver’s license, proof of insurance, current safety inspection, current vehicle registration, and a rental agreement if applicable. All vehicles are subject to search.

Requests are accepted no earlier than three months and no later than 30 days before the intended visit. Please plan accordingly.
Visitors from states that are not compliant with the REAL ID Act of 2005 are required to present a second form of valid government-issued identification prior to being granted access. Please note that VA ID cards are not accepted as a primary credential. We encourage you to verify your state’s compliance status before your visit.
A Special Function Agreement is required for events with 10 or more unauthorized guests on the installation. Agreements, Guest Sponsorship lists, and all required forms must be submitted to Security Forces no later than 5 duty days prior to the event.
