Policies

 

Policies are designed and enforced so that all guests enjoy their stay.
 
Authorized ID cardholders are responsible for their conduct, as well as the conduct of their dependents and sponsored guests at all times. Excessive noise, profanity or disturbances at any time, will not be allowed. Sponsors are required to remain at assisgned campsite during quiet hours from 2200-0800.
 
Length of Stay:
The maximum stay is 14 days and may be extended in seven day increments.
     *Providing space is available and with management approval.
 
Cancellations:
Refunds are given when cancellations are made 14 days prior. The deposit will be assessed when failing to provide a minimum 14-day notice. When the reservation period includes a Friday, Saturday, or Federal Holiday, the beginning reservation date may not be canceled without canceling the entire reservation.
 
Check-in/Check-out Time:
Check-in time is 1500, check-out time is 1300.
 
Cleaning Fee:
A minimum of $25 cleaning fee will be charged to guests who have not met the acceptable standard of cleaning their campsites prior to check-out.
 

PARKING:

The parking policy at Bellows Air Force Station is strictly enforced due to fire code compliance.

ONLY 2 vehicles allowed at each campsite. VEHICLES PARKED AT CAMPSITE MUST DISPLAY parking permits issued at the time of check-in. All other vehicles without permits MUST park at one of the overflow parking areas. Any vehicle parked at a campsite without a parking permit is subject to be ticketed or towed at the owner’s expense.

 
Bellows General Policies:
• Picnic areas are closed during hours of darkness
• Beaches are closed to swimming during the hours of darkness
• Privately owned watercraft's are prohibited from landing or launching on the shores of Bellows
• Hunting is not permitted
• Animals are prohibited on Bellows AFS
• Open fires are not permitted
• Weapons of any caliber to include pellet guns, air rifles, and BB guns are prohibited
• Metal detectors are not permitted at Bellows AFS
