Policies

Personnel authorized on Bellows AFS facilities are responsible for their conduct, as well as their dependents, guests, and visitors at all times.

Pavilion Check-In: 0800, Check-out: 1900 (Memorial Day-Labor Day) and 1800 (Sep-May)
 
Sponsors are responsible for their conduct as well as the conduct of their guests at all times.
 
Your $50 cleaning deposit (which was charged when your reservation was confirmed) will be refunded upon check-out and after site inspection by Bellows Grounds personnel.  Your deposit will be withheld and additional charges assessed if the area is not cleaned, if trash is present, or if tables have been rearranged per diagram posted. Centralized trash containers are provided in each area for your convenience.  You are responsible to provide your own garbage bags. We encourage you to recycle your cans/bottles/etc in our recycle bins. 
 
NO FASTENERS; SCREWS, NAILS, EYE HOOKS, ETC... WILL BE ATTACHED TO THE PAVILION OR YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR DAMAGE TO GOVERNMENT PROPERTY!
 
If function requires advance set-up, it must be pre-coordinated and accomplished the day prior.  The pavilion must be reserved (and paid for) for both days.  Likewise, if clean up/tear down cannot be accomplished prior to checkout, the following day must also be reserved and paid for.  Swimming areas are closed after dark.
 
No pets/animals are allowed on Bellows AFS, with the exception of ADA animals with proper documentation. In addition, the feeding of feral animals is prohibited and grounds for eviction. (Paperwork must be available upon request at all times while located on the premises.)
 
No refunds for beach closures, weather or natural events.
 
Privately owned motorized watercrafts are prohibited from landing or launching on the shores of Bellows AFS. Privately owned kayaks are O.K.
 
Complaints from other patrons or personnel, regarding excessive noise, disturbances, litter or any other rule violations may result in eviction and loss of base privileges for up to one year. 
 
Signage, open fires and use the of extension cords is prohibited. Portable generators are permitted at the pavilions.
 
Cooking units must be located at least 6 feet from any building, tent, or combustible material, and at least 3 feet off the ground. Open unattended fires are prohibited. Grills are for outdoor cooking only. Wood is not authorized for burning in grills. Coals must be cooled and disposed of in coal disposal areas.  Do not dispose of coals on the ground or in trash receptacles.
 
-No electric is provided at the pavilions, with the exception of the deck and mini golf pavilion.

 

-Each Pavilion is limited to a party of 200

 

-Parties of 200+ will be charged a fee of $140 per sani-toilet. (One sani toilet per every 100 guests)

 

-Parties of 100+ must provide additional lifeguards; a minimum of one certified lifeguard per every additional 100 people is required.

 
PARKING PROCEDURES:
 
-Parties of 100+ must have a parking plan approved by Bellows Security Forces.
 
Over 300 attendees: Pavilion parking lot will be blocked at the inbound lane of Beach Walk Lane during the event.  Sponsor will sign out stanchions/cones to block entrance to the pavilion parking area.  Overflow parking will be utilized (refer to Bellows map).
 
Less than 299 attendees: Pavilion parking lot will be on a first come first serve basis.  When the parking lot is full the inbound lane of Beach Walk Lane will be blocked with stanchions/cones. 

NOTEParking in front of reservations building, and mini golf course are prohibited for special event attendees. Only handicapped personnel, distinguished visitors, and delivery/contracted services will be allowed access to the pavilion parking area when the parking lot is closed for parties over 300 personnel. Additionally events with over 350 DOD personnel will be required to complete a mass gathering event request. Sponsors with events over 100 personnel must report to Bldg. 515 at least 1 hr before the start of  the event and contact the on duty flight sergeant for clarification of all instructions.  Also, the sponsor will sign out stanchions/cones to block entrance to beach walk lane in the event the parking lot becomes full.
